Egypt arrested Caucasian Students

According to Russian-Tatar Islamic News Network ASN-News, Egypt Security Service arrested 198 students among them from Chechnya, Ingushetia and Dagestan.

According to ASN-News, Egypt Security Service have started a special operation on May 24, 2009. Until now,Egypt Security Service arrested 198 students at Islamic schools, 73 of them was born in Chechnya, 12 of them was born in Ingushetia, 10 of them was born in Dagestan and 3 of them was born in Tatarstan. During the operations in the capital of Egypt, Cairo, Special Forces broke into the apartment, breaking doors and appliances. The arrests were accompanied by threats. Arrested and taken to an unknown destination. And interesting note, there were some married students and special forces arrested also their wifes and children (from 1 to 10 years old). Russian Students Union announcement, there was also students from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

Russian vice concul in Cairo, Timur Agametov said that there is no information from Egyptian authorities, they are keeping their silence.

The relatives and friends of arrested students belive students are in the detention centers at the Medinet Nasr district of Cairo. Also they think, the students torturing, they can’t take any food, they are isolated from the world.
