Statement for Abdullaev by Human Rights Activists
The well known human rights activists have send a statement to The General Prosecutor of Russian Federation and The Ombudsman of Russian Federation in connection with the illegal detention of Maskhud Abdullaev.
On June 20, 2009 a statement which is related with illegal detention of Maskhud Abdullaev in Moscow airport after his deportation from Egypt, has send to Yuri Chaika, The General Prosecutor of Russian Federation and also one copy of it has send to Vladimir Petrovich Lukin, the Ombudsman Russian Federation; and it has signed by Mayrbek Taramov, Director of the Chechen Human Rights Center in Sweden; Victoria Poupka, President of the Massachusetts Branch of the American Association of Jews from the former USSR in USA; Nadezhda Banchik, Amnesty International in USA; Said Emin Ibragimov, President of the International Association of «Peace and Human Rights» in France and Elena Maglevannaya, Russian Journalist, human rights activist in Finland.
Human rights activists explained at the text: Chechen students who were deported from Egypt on June 19,2009, they were released after questioning at the Moscow Domodedovo airport , except Abdullaev Maskhud. They said it seems, Russian Special Service (FSB) detained Maskhud in order to force for the confession of his father Abdullaev Supyan, considered one of the leaders of the Chechen Resistance. It is also possible that members of the FSB arrested Abdullaev Maskhud for its recruitment. In any case, this practice is calling as «hostages» which condemned the criminal law of any civilized country. They have added to also known that Abdullaev Maskhud isn’t declared as criminal either in Russia or in the international arena.
Activists have finished their statement as they believe that decisive action of Yuri Chaika may stop the lawlessness of bullying staff FSB over quite innocent man, and Abdullaev Maskhud will be released immediately.
