Free Caucasus Group Held a Meeting with Danish Parliamenters
On Tuesday June 30,2009, the group “Free Caucasus” held a meeting with the members of Denmark parliament and discussed to last issues in Caucasus.
Isa Munayev (Chechen), the Chairman of the Free Caucasus Group and his deputy Rusudan Giorgberidze (Georgian) held a meeting with the members of Denmark Parliament in Copenhag, the capital of Denmark. During the meeting there were dicussed to the socio-political situation in the Caucasus in connection with escalation of military tension in the Georgian-Russian border. Danish parliamentarians have expressed their concern at the continuing armed provocations in the Georgian-Russian border potentially, in their view, the resumption of regular Russian-Georgian military confrontation. The well known socio-political figures of the Denmark, Professor Helen Krag and Karl Erik Foverskov were also attendend to the meeting.
On the other hand, Ilyas Musayev (Chechen) one of the leader of Free Caucasus Group met with the representatives of the Caucasus Home and the well known Polish writer Vitold Micheal in Poland on July 1, 2009. They were discussed about the World Caucasus Diaspora Congress in Kopenhag which will organize on October 24, 2009.
