Ali Hassanov: “Chechen refugees in Azerbaijan: Ordinary Civilians or Terrorists?”
According to Azerbaijan Press Agency, Ali Hassainov, the Vice-Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, said: “We have problems to identifying of Chechen refugees”.
“We have send identy informations of Chechen refugees in Azerbaijan to authorities of Russia Federation. Yet Russian authorities haven’t responded it, we are waiting. Who are they: ordinary civilians or terrorists? It is impossible to defining it” he added.
Ali Hassanov said that terrorism operations of Russia in Chechnya was ended, but for now the returning of Chechen refugees haven’t started yet.
According to informations of Ali Hassanov, there were living around 12 thousand refugees live in Azerbaijan, today it is around 5 thousand and most of them from Turkmenisten, but there are Chechens, Afgans and Palestenians also including the refugees.
