Members of a Local NGO were Abducted in Chechnya

The  members of local NGO “Lam” in Argun city of Chechnya reported that two members of their organization were abducted.

Ramzan Soltaev (born in 1981) who was a human rights defender, was kidnapped by unknown armed people two weeks ago. And on September 17, 2009, another activist of “Lam”, Bilal Soltaev (born in 1980) was taken away from his home by armed people who was wearing camouflages and masks.

The eyewitnesses alleged to both of victims were abducted by the killers of Natalya Estemirova.

The members of “Lam” belives that Bilal and Ramzan are stucking in puppet Kadirov’s personal prison in Hosi-Yurt where they are subjecting to severaly torture and violence.

The local NGO “Lam” asks for help of international community to save Bilal and Ramzan Soltaev while stil they are alive.
