Lords of the Benelux

On Sunday December 13, Kalmthout, a city of Belgium, hosted an Benelux countries’ international greco-romen style wrestling championship. And Chechen wrestlers achieved excellent results at the championship.

In Benelux (an union in Western Europea: Belgium, Netherlans and Luxembourg) championship of greco-romen style, Chechen wrestlers again introduced their power in the tournement, however especially a wrestling team from Verviers city of Belgium under the management of Chechen trainers Aslan Albakov and Marat Dzeiytov became champion as a team with their results.

Magomed Dosayev (Verviers, Belgium) Silver Medal

Mansur Saiydulayev (Verviers, Belgium) 4th place

34 kg: Zapir Yusupov (Verviers, Belgium) Golden Medal

Imam Vagabov (Raeren, Belgium) Silver Medal

37 kg: Bilal Abdurashidov (Kapellen, Belgium) Golden Medal

Alikhan Khamanayev (Verviers, Belgium) Silver Medal

Movsar Itazov (Verviers, Belgium) Bronze Medal

Alvi Guliyev (Dortreht, Netherlands) 4th place

41 kg: Mukharbek Kurkiyev (Verviers, Belgium) Golden Medal

Abubakar Tutayev (Verviers, Belgium) Silver Medal
