Good Results from Chechen Wrestlers

During the last weekend small Chechen wrestlers attended to two different wrestling tournament in Germany and Austria.

On June 19, Austrian championship for Greco-Romen style wrestling among pupils was organized in Instig city. 126 wrestlers of 18 sports club all around Austria were attended to the championship. Athletes competed in two age group like “A” and “B” ages.

The results of Chechen wrestlers:

Age Category: “A”

33 kg: Magomed Muradov (Gratz) Golden Medal; Zakri Akhmayev (Klaus) Silver Medal; Mayrbek Titev (Götzis) 4th place; Imam Balayev (Gratz) 5th place

37 kg: Turpal Ali Isayev (Siva) Golden Medal; Saykhan Kukayev (Götzis) Silver Medal

41 kg: Magomed Ozniyev (Teknopul) Golden Medal; Ibragim Isayev (Siva) Bronze Medal; Akhmed Arsanaliyev (Vienna) 5th place; Mansur Dorsutev (Teknopul) 6th place

45 kg: Khamzat Gaziyev (Intsing) 4th place; Suleyman Musadzhiyev (Graz) 5th place

50 kg: Turpalkhan Yakiyev (Vienna) Bronze Medal

55 kg: Muslim Danayev (Vienna) Silver Medal; Magomed Ilyasov (Abtenau) Bronze Medal

66 kg: Ramzan Yandarov (Gratz) Silver Medal

Age Category: “B”

27 kg: Khizir Dorsuyev (Teknpul) Silver Medal

29 kg: Abdulrakhman Isayev (Siva) Golden Medal; Said Betirov (Gratz) 5th place

32 kg: Abkhan Khakimov (Linz) Golden Medal; Khamzat Nasukhanov (Teknopul) 6th place

35 kg: Mikail Kukayev (Götzis) Silver Medal; Sulim Mezhidov (Vienna) 5th place

38 kg: Islam Shuaipov (Teknopul) 6th place

42 kg: Minkail Ilyasov (Götzis) Bronze Medal

55 kg: Turpal Akhmayev (Klaus) Silver Medal

On June 20, “Mülheim Cup”, a Greco-Romen style wrestling tournament, was held in German town Mülheim. The competitions were held among boys between 6 and 18 years olds. More than 200 athletes from 25 sports clubs of Belgium and Germany were participated to the wrestling tournament.

21 kg: Mansour Vagabov, Silver Medal

23 kg: Radzhab Magomedov, 6th place

29 kg: Zelimkhan Akhmadov, Bronze Medal

1998 – 2001 Births:

31 kg: Salman Aliyev, Golden Medal; Ramzan Ibragimov, Silver Medal; Umar Dzhamulayev, Bronze Medal

34 kg: Idris Tabayev, Golden Medal; Musa Suleymanov, 7th place.

38 kg: Imam Vagabov, Golden Medal; Osman Mukhiyev, 6th place

42 kg: Abubakar Tutayev, Golden Medal; Rakhman Magomedov, 7th place

1993 – 1997 Births:

38 kg: Dzhokhar Gambulatov, Golden Medal

46 kg: Khamzat Ibragimov, Silver Medal

50 kg: Eli Dzhamulayev, 5th place; Rakhim Magomedov, 7th place

54 kg: Magomed Alkhazov, 4th place

63 kg: Shamil Lamanuyev, Silver Medal
