Protest Demonstration from Relatives of the Missing People

Human Rights Center “Memorial” reported that on June 1, relatives of the missing people who were kidnapped by occupier Russians and their puppet since 2000, hold a protest demonstration in the capital of Chechnya, Grozny.

The protest demonstration was organized in a public garden in the center of Grozny by a local organization “Mothers’ Anxiety (Materinskaya Trevoga)”. More than 50 women came to the public garden with the photos of their sons, brothers and fathers. In some families several people have disappeared. The gathered tried to draw attention to the problem of the missing people in the country. People had banners which said: “How long should we, sick mothers, wait for our sons?”, “Where is my father?”, etc.
