A Resident of Grozny has been Abducted and Beaten
Local residents of the capital of Chechnya have reported that a young man was abducted by mobsters of the puppet regime, and that the Kadyrovites beat him badly.
“On August 5, gang members of the pro-Russian regime in Chechnya abducted a young man named Adlan Akhmadov in the Staropromyslovsky district of Grozny. They abducted Adlan without any charges and beat him viciously during an interrogation, resulting in hospitalization,” a local human rights defender told a correspondent from the Kavkaz-Uzel website.
According to source, Adlan Akhmadov is still in the hospital but neither his relatives nor his advocate have been allowed to see him. His room is under guard by the armed forces of the national traitors.
“All the questions his relatives have had about the abduction have gone unanswered. Adlan was probably beaten as a result of being falsely accused of crimes. Unfortunately, this practice is very common in today’s Chechnya, but such incidents are rarely made public.” He also noted that Adlan’s relatives have appealed to local human rights organizations for help.
At the same time, Isa M., a resident of Mayakovsky village in the Staropromyslovsky district of Grozny, contacted the correspondent from Kavkaz-Uzel and told them about the abduction of another young man last week. “Some armed men in uniforms took a young man and drove away. He was released but not until after he was tortured and beaten. It is believed that mobsters of the puppet Kadyrov demanded him to confess to a crime, but the young man refused. After the torture he was released, but his relatives have been afraid to make the news public,” said Isa.
