Russian media sources have reported that an Ingush girl was arrested in Moscow as a “suspected terrorist”.
According to the Russian media, on December 8th, an Ingush girl arrived in Moscow to commit a terrorist act, but was arrested by agents from the Russian Interior Troops on the night of December 10th. The Russian Interior Ministry published a short press release which read, “On December 9th, the girl called her parents from her mobile phone and explained to them that she wanted to join a Wahhabism movement and she would commit an attack in Moscow”.
However, local sources denied the information which was spread by the Russian media. They said that the girl’s name is Bella Sultanovna Barkhinoeva and is only 22 years old. Earlier, she was a resident of Karabulak, Ingushetia, but she married and moved to Moscow.
