Another Land Mine Incident
Local sources reported that a man died in the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria after a land mine explosion.
The 59-year old local man went to the forest to collect wild-garlic (honk), but 6 kilometers from the outskirts of Grozny’s Chishki village, the old man triggered a land mine. As a result of the explosion, the man died on the spot.
