Young Russians Demand Akhmadov’s Extradition
Russian media sources have reported that a group which calls itself the “Young Russia Movement” organized a protest in front of the U.S embassy in Moscow in order to demand the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria’s former Foreign Minister Ilyas Akhmadov’s extradition.
On January 28th, at 12:00am, around 50 youths gathered in front of the U.S embassy in Moscow. The Russian protesters described Ilyas Akhmadov as a terrorist. The protesters from the Young Russia Movement demanded that the U.S extradite Ilyas Akhmadov to Russia.
Recall that, recently a book which was written by the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria’s former Foreign Minister Ilyas Akhmadov was published in the U.S, and the Russian Foreign Ministry condemned the book’s release and its presentation at an event in Washington.
