Kidnapped Man Released on Ransom
Local sources have reported that a male resident of the Grozny district was abducted by thugs from the puppet regime in the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.
According to the information, on April 3, a group of armed Kadyrovites organized a special operation in the village of Gikalo, which is within the Grozny district. As a result, the 48-year old male resident was abducted from his home. After a short while, his relatives were able to find a reliable contact among the bandits from the puppet regime. The Kadyrovites claimed that their hostage was actively providing food and medicine to a mobile group of Chechen mujahedeen in 2008. However, relatives of the hostage agreed to pay ransom which was demanded by the Kadyrovites. After the ransom was paid, the hostage was released immediately. It was learned that during his time as a hostage, he was beaten.
