A New Hostage Incident in Grozny
Local sources have reported that a male civilian was abducted by thugs from the pro-Russian regime in the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.
According to the report, armed bandits from the pro-Russian regime conducted a punishment operation in the mountainous area of Grozny. A local resident, who was born in 1980, was abducted in the village of Mayakovsky, within Grozny’s Staropromyslovsky district.
Pro-Russian authorities claim that their hostage formerly provided aide to the Chechen mujahedeen. They say that he hid fighters in his apartment and drove them outside of Chechnya last September.
The hostage’s fate and whereabouts are unknown.
