Don’t Forget Chechnya
In the daily Turkish newspaper, Milli Gazete, columnist Mehmet Sevket Eygi expostulates that people have forgotten Chechnya.
Here is his article:
In the past, the Muslim community was not so disloyal, or so forgetful…
Most of us have forgotten Chechnya, we have removed them from the agenda.
The Chechens are numerically small but are a big Islamic nation in terms of spiritual force, who have fought against persecution, colonialism and imperialism throughout history.
For many years, there has been blood, tears, wails and moans. The Chechen nation has lost many of their people. Wounded people; destroyed houses, villages and cities; and raped women.
Chechnya has witnessed big disasters, savageries, barbarities and vandalism.
The Crusaders, Zionists, and Colonialists did not want Chechnya to be an independent country.
They did not want an Islamic state in Chechnya. I am begging my Muslim brothers, do not forget Chechnya!
The Chechens are our brothers and sisters in faith and religion. At least, let’s share their suffering in our hearts.
Let’s pray for the liberation of Chechnya (at the same time for our salvation…).
Let’s wish that Islam, justice and internal peace would dominate Chechnya.
Let’s help Chechen refugees (who are care-seeking) in our country.
Below I write three websites name:
1) Waynakh.com
2) Kavkaz Center
3) Cecen Online
Let’s visit these websites from time to time and read the news and comments.
While we feel sorry for the Chechens, don’t forget our miserable situation.
They are under pressure from Russia and Russia lovers in the Caucasus; we are under pressure in Anatolia from the official ideology of Thessalonica.
