Abductions in Chechnya Continue

Local sources have reported that since the beginning of May 2012, at least 31 civilians have been abducted in the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.

According to the information, Russian military forces and the pro-Russian Chechen regime’s armed bandits participated in these punishment operations in different regions of the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.

Here are the details of these punishment operations and abducted civilians:

May 12: In the village of Samashki within the Achkoy-Martan district, four male civilians born in 1989, 1991 and 1992 were accused of providing food for a group of Chechen mujahedeen

May 15: In the Gudermes district, a male civilian born in 1986 was accused of providing information to a group of Chechen mujahedeen in May of 2008

May 16: In the village of Syuzhi within the Shatoy district, a woman born in 1961 was accused of providing food to a group of Chechen mujahedeen in August of 2011

May 18: In the village of Engel-Yurt within the Gudermes district, a male civilian born in 1989 was accused of providing food and medicine to a group of Chechen mujahedeen since September of 2011

May 19: In the village of Eshilhatoy, a female civilian born in 1969 was accused of providing food to a group of Chechen mujahedeen in the spring of 2006

May 22: In the village of Salazhi within the Urus-Martan district, a male civilian born in 1990 was accused of providing food to a group of Chechen mujahedeen since May of 2012

May 22: In the village of Mahkety within the Vedeno district, a male civilian born in 1963 was accused of providing food, medicine and shelter to a group of Chechen mujahedeen in December of 2000

May 23: In Gudermes, a male civilian born in 1968 was accused of being a former member of a group of Chechen mujahedeen in 2000.

May 24: In Grozny, a male civilian born in 1977 was accused of being a former member of a group of Chechen mujahedeen in 2005.

May 25: In the village of Engel-Yurt within the Gudermes district, a male civilian born in 1985 was accused of providing food to a group of Chechen mujahedeen beginning in December of 2011.

June 1: In the Sunzha district, a male civilian born in 1976 was accused of transporting a Chechen mujahedeen group in 2005.

June 5: In the Urus-Martan district, a male civilian born in 1989 was accused of being a member of the Chechen mujahedeen.

June 5: In the village of Michurina within the Urus-Martan district, a woman born in 1958 was accused of housing a group of Chechen mujahedeen.

June 16: In Moscow, Russia’s town of Staro Dmitrovsky, a male civilian born in 1976 was accused of providing financial aid to the Chechen mujahedeen.

June 21: In the Sunzha district, a male civilian born in 1984 was accused of providing food to members of a Chechen mujahedeen group.

June 22: In the village of Samashki within the Achkoy-Martan district, a male civilian born in 1986 was accused of providing food to a group of Chechen mujahedeen since July of 2011.

June 23: In the village of Samashki within the Achkoy-Martan district, a male civilian born in 1982 was accused of providing food to a group of Chechen mujahedeen since June of 2012.

June 25: In the village of Assasinovskaya within the Sunzha district, a young girl born in 1993 was accused of being a member of the Chechen mujahedeen from September of 2011 until June of 2012.

June 25: In Grozny, a male civilian born in 1990 was accused of providing food to a group of Chechen mujahedeen since May of 2012.

June 26: In the village of Bamut within the Achkoy-Martan district, a woman born in 1971 was accused of providing food and housing to a group of Chechen mujahedeen since January of 2012.

June 27: In Grozny, a male civilian born in 1985 was accused of providing food and housing to a group of Chechen mujahedeen in the summer of 2010.

June 27: In Grozny, a young girl from Kabardino-Balkaria, born in 1993 was accused of recruiting new members for Chechen mujahedeen groups.

June 28: In Grozny, a male civilian born in 1981 was accused of providing food to the Chechen mujahedeen in 2008.

July 2: In the village of Salazhi within the Urus-Martan district, a male civilian born in 1962 was accused of providing housing and transportation to a group of Chechen mujahedeen between December 2008 and October 2011.

July 3: In the village of Elistanzhi within the Vedeno district, a woman born in 1958 was accused of providing food to a group of Chechen mujahedeen in January of 2004.

July 5: In the village of Yandi within the Achkoy-Martan district, a male civilian born in 1989 was accused of providing food to a group of Chechen mujahedeen.

July 5: In Grozny, a male civilian born in 1988 was accused of providing food and medicine to a group of Chechen mujahedeen in June of 2009

July 5: In the village of Berkat-Yurt in Grozny, a male civilian born in 1979 was accused of providing food to a group of Chechen mujahedeen in May of 2001.
