Chechen Woman Abducted in Vedeno
Local sources have reported that armed invaders from the Russian Interior Ministry’s Criminal Investigation Department abducted a woman in the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.
According to the reports, on July 16 armed Russian invaders organized a punishment operation in the village of Selmentauzen, within the Vedeno district. As a result, a Chechen woman, born in 1969 was abducted. The female hostage is accused of providing food and shelter to two members of a group of Chechen mujahedeen in April of 2010.
The fate and whereabouts of the hostage are unknown.
