Local Man Abducted in Sunzha District
Local sources have reported that a male civilian was abducted in the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.
According to the information, on December 21, soldiers from the Russian Interior Ministry’s Sunzha unit, OMON troops, and the pro-Russian regime’s local armed bandits organized a joint punishment operation in the village of Assinovskaya, within the Sunzha district. A local man, born in 1993, was abducted from his house. The hostage is accused of providing food to members of Chechen National Liberation Movement in September 2012.
The hostage’s fate and whereabouts are unknown at the moment.
