Waynakh Online Readers Targeted by Russian Hackers
The Waynakh Online IT management team has determined that an attempted hacking was undertaken after Russian hackers placed secret code inside the Waynakh.com server.
According to the report from our IT managers, after censorship attempts were made through the Kaspersky anti-virus program as well as the Russian internet service provider SkyLink, Russian hackers have now placed a secret code inside Waynakh.com’s server, targeting mobile phone and tablet users. The hacking code adds redirection instructions for all visitor traffic from mobile phones and tablets to be redirected to a Russian website. The secret code claims that the visitors don’t have the necessary updated browser to view the website and asks them to download the latest version; however, when the mobile phone or tablet users try to download the so-called updated version on the redirected site, a virus infects their system.
Our IT managers successfully removed the secret codes and our website is safe again for mobile phone and tablet users.
