Abduction in Vedeno District
Local sources have reported that a male civilian was abducted in the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.
According to the information, on February 15, soldiers from the Russian Interior Ministry’s Vedeno district unit and armed bandits from the pro-Moscow regime organized a joint punishment operation in the village of Mehkety within the Vedeno district. As a result, a male civilian, born in 1970, was abducted from his house. The hostage is accused of providing food to members of the Chechen National Liberation Movement in 2010.
The hostage’s fate and whereabouts are unknown at the moment.
