Two Civilians Abducted in Chechnya
Local sources have reported that two male civilians were abducted in the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.
On February 7, the pro-Russian regime’s armed bandits organized a punishment operation in the village of Alkhan-Kala within the Grozny district. As a result, a male civilian, born in 1988, was abducted from his house. The hostage is accused of providing food to members of the Chechen National Liberation Movement in 2009.
On the same day, soldiers from the Russian Interior Ministry’s Urus-Martan district unit and the pro-Russian regime’s armed bandits organized a joint punishment operation in Urus-Martan. As a result, a male civilian, born in 1984, was abducted from his home. The hostage is accused of providing food to members of the Chechen National Liberation Movement since 2012.
The fates and whereabouts of the hostages are unknown.
