On April 21, in the city of Kahramanmaras, Turkey, where a large number of old Chechen diaspora members live, a memorial event was held at the Kahramanmaras Caucasian-Chechen Culture and Solidarity Association. Alongside Chechen diaspora representatives in Kahramanmaras were many Chechens from neighboring cities, who attended the event.

In Tbilisi, the capital city of Georgia, a group of young Chechens and Georgian citizens gathered in front of the Georgian Parliamentary building to remind them of Russia’s crimes and to condemn them once again. The protesters held photos of Dzhokhar Dudaev, as well as Ichkerian and Georgian flags.
