N.Gungor: “From Behind the Braves…”
We shouldn’t forget the people who help us to move in the feelings geography. The day before, Medet Unlu was assassinated cowardly in Ankara. Medet Unlu was a brave man, not just for Chechens or Muslims in the North Caucasus, but for all of us. He opened our hearts to a huge geography.
I am a witness, while he couldn’t buy coal for his own house, while he couldn’t take bread to his children, the media accused him with nonsense claims.
I am a witness, he was the address of hope when we were in the most desperate moments; he was a smile, he was a sacrifice, he was help.
I am a witness, he was a brave man of ummah, he was heart, he was outcry. Just to spite those who closed their minds and hearts to their brothers, he was a monument of brotherhood.
Rest in Peace!
