Two Civilians Abducted in Vedeno District
Local sources have reported that two male civilians were abducted in the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.
According to the information, on June 21, armed bandits from the pro-Moscow regime in Russian occupied Chechen lands organized punishment operations in the district of Vedeno. A male resident, born in 1970, from the village of Elistanzhi, and another male resident, born in 1959, from the village of Makhkety were abducted. The hostages are accused of providing food to members of the Chechen National Liberation Movement from the fall of 2005 until last summer.
The fate and whereabouts of the hostages are unknown.
