Local sources have reported that a male civilian was abducted in the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.
According to the information, on July 9, soldiers from the Russian Interior Ministry’s Gudermes unit and armed bandits from the pro-Moscow regime in Russian occupied Chechen lands organized a joint punishment operation in the district of Gudermes. As a result, a male resident, born in 1985, was abducted from his house in the village of Koshkeldy. The hostage is accused of providing food to members of the Chechen National Liberation Movement in March 2012.
