Russia and Kazakhstan Block Chechen.org
The users of Chechen.org in Russia and Kazakhstan have reported that they can no longer access the website Chechen.org due to official censorship.
According to the information, internet users in Russia and Kazakhstan receive the following warning message when they try to access Chechen.org:
“Dear Subscriber! Your access to the requested web resource is limited at the request of law enforcement agencies in accordance with the law and / or by a court decision.”
We must remind you that there are not any court decisions against Chechen.org, which simply has a large database of historical and cultural materials, as well as academic works. However, it is known that Kazakh Telecom and Russian internet providers openly signed an agreement to provide filtering, censorship, and surveillance on the basis of Security Council resolutions, and there is strong co-operation between CIS countries.
