Announcement on the DDoS Attacks Against Waynakh Online
Our website has been unavailable since August 23 due to the strongest and most persistent distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack in the history of Waynakh Online.
Our IT managers determined the first attack came from the city of Velikiy Novgorod in Novosibirsk in the Russian Federation, and they were able to stop it. However, after the first attack, hackers started to use thousands of various IP addresses which belonged to Canada, China, France, Germany, Ireland, Poland, United States and Ukraine alongside Russia. For this reason, all the efforts of our IT managers were useless against it and our website was taken down.
Even today, in comparison to the first day, low intensity DDoS attacks continue, thus some of our readers may have problems reaching our service. However, our IT managers are working hard to restore our service and will work to improve security against similar attacks. It must be known that by the will of God and our IT manager we will stay here to publish the realities related to Chechnya.
We apologize to our readers for the inconvenience caused.
