Peace Walk in Road: Vilnius!
After leaving from Warsaw, Poland, the Peace Walk arrived to the capital city of Lithuania, Vilnius on September 30 as it was planned.
The Chechen delegation was welcomed by deputies of the Lithuanian Parliament “Seimas”, Mr Rytas Kupčinskas and Mrs Vida Marija Čigriejienė. Then, delegation made a presentation in the parliament building about their movement. They were warmly welcomed by the Lithuanian deputies, and the deputies have declared their support, wished success as well as promised their support in all levels. The Chechen delegation is represented by Said Emin Ibragimov, responsible of Peace Walk; Ruslan Takhayev, Minister of Sports; Rubati Mitsaeva, Special Representative of ChRI; and Adam Borowski, Honorary Consul of ChRI in Poland; however, in this meeting, Aminat Saieva, representative of the ChRI in the Baltic countries, also accompanied them.
