Medet Onlu Assassination’s Turkish Hit Man Arrested
Murat Aluç, Turkish hitman of Medet Onlu assassination (Honorary Consul of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria in Turkey who was assassinated in his office in Ankara on May 22, 2013) and 5 other Turkish citizens who helped to his hiding were arrested by the Turkish police on October 11, 2014.
According to our sources, the Anti-Terror Branch of the Istanbul Police was chasing the hitman Murat Aluç since last 8 months, however, he managed to run away 2 times at the last minutes. Lately, it was found out that the hitman has been hiding in the city of Sakarya, situated on the Ankara-Istanbul Highway. Turkish police achieved some important intelligence information that Murat Aluç is staying at different places belong to İ.Ş. (41), his close friend from the prison, and his relatives H.Ş. (23), Ö.Ş. (52) and C.Ç (53). The Turkish hitman Murat Aluç was changing his address and his identity often; he was taking help from his close circle and he was hiding criminal weapons in the store of M.K. (47). On October 11, 2014 the Anti-Terror Branch of the Istanbul Police got an information that Murat Aluç is on his way from Istanbul to Sakarya with a Turkish plated car (54 B 6279); thus the police informed about him immediately to the Sakarya police headquarters, and the department of Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime in Sakarya placed a check point next to the the entrance of highway tollgate in Sakarya. When the police officers tried to stop the car, Murat Aluç and Ö.Ş. left the car and started to run away, however, they were arrested quickly.
On Murat Aluç, the police found a fake identity prepared in the name of Ümit Aydeniz, and a handgun. Then Turkish police has started simultaneously operations in the city of Kocaeli, and in the towns of Akyazi, Sapanca, and Karapurcek. The police arrested İ.Ş, H.Ş, C.Ç. and M.K. During the house and the store searches, the police found 2 hand guns, 2 signal jammers, 1 electroshock device, 1 pomp-action rifle, 1 shot gun, 3 ammunition clips, 1 pepper spray, 52 bullets for 9 mm pistol, 41 bullets for shot gun, 1 laptop, 7 files documents, 4 mobile phones, 3 SIM cards, 9 photograph, 6 passport copies, 6 notebook and many documents in Cyrillic alphabet.
After the operation, 6 suspects were sent to capital city of Ankara where the directorate of Anti-Terror Police conducts an investigation about the assasination of Medet Onlu.
