Who can be more valubale than those who spent their lives for a cause, paid a price, gave their lives?… Especially, if this cause is for a nation\u2019s freedom and existence struggle\u2026
\nMedet Unlu was someone like this.
\nHe was one of the symbolic names of freedom of the Chechen people and Caucasus nations\u2026
\nWhen the Chechen resistance was very active, we were evaluating the news with him. We were taking the correct news from him, and we were understanding the details about the war from his eyes.
\nWhatever happened in Chechnya or the Caucasus, we would call him first. He was a kind of filter on the information pollution.
\nHe was a fighting man. He never stepped back. He was there, when the Chechen cause was popular, but he was still there when everybody kept silent.
\nAt the same time, he was a sincere man for Turkey. He was one of the knowledgable men, the intellects.
\nOne man came to his office, rang the bell, and fired his bullets into Medet Unlu.
\nThis attack is the latest of ongoing systematic assasinations against Chechens in Turkey.
\nEarlier, Islam Dzhanibekov, Edilsultanov and Ali Osaev were assassinated in Istanbul in a similar way.
\nSome of them were very professional.
\nA new unsolved assassination is added to this list.
\nKadyrov or Russian intelligence, I don\u2019t know\u2026
\nBut one thing is clear; someone is giving permission for these assassinations.
\nThe conservative society in Turkey knew Medet Unlu very well and appreciated him. Today, most of those who rule Turkey, met with him somewhere at least once.
\nThe Prime Minister and a lot of names in the cabinet of ministers are included in this list. Writers and knowledgable men are included in this list. Many of those who are sensitive on the Chechnya issue are on this list.
\nThe deceased Necmettin Erbakan (former Turkish prime minister) was consulting with Medet Unlu on the Chechen issue.
\nIn fact, Medet Unlu was a custodian of the legendary Dzhokhar Dudaev.
\nMay Allah rest Medet Unlu\u2019s soul. I offer my condolences to his family, his closest friends and the Caucasian people.
\nWhy can\u2019t we protect them? Why?!<\/p>\n
