An article<\/a> to a former Canadian model Chrystal Callahan, now an anchorwoman of the English-language broadcasts in pro-Moscow puppets\u2019 tv channel, has been devoted in the German paper of S\u00fcddeutsche Zeitung. <\/p>\n

Chrystal’s audience, as the paper wrote, is not the American, but a puppet regime. Therefore she tells “not about the horrors of this world, but about the beauty of the post-war Chechnya”, the German paper points out.<\/p>\n

Chrystal tells nothing on torture, killings and kidnappings, asserting that she does not know about them. “My friends did not even mention about it”, she said.<\/p>\n

The former model considers that there is nobody to be feared here, since she had traveled all over Chechnya. Only the Bureau of the human rights organization “Memorial” Chrystal has not found time to visit, the paper bitterly sneer at.<\/p>\n

Chrystal’s father – an African American, businessman, mother – a Canadian of Irish origin. Parents have changed cities – Toronto, Michigan, Los Angeles. Chrystal herself in 16 years has become a model and moved to Japan, although it is not easy for black people there. “Chechens are more tolerant”, she said.<\/p>\n

Three years ago she came to Chechnya for shooting. Then the local puppets offered her own TV broadcast on Kadirov’s TV, she agreed, the German paper wrote.<\/p>\n

For eight months, once a week, Chrystal appears on television, in a headscarf and in a long skirt. All doors opened for her in Chechnya, and Chrystal “asked about the question of what is safe to ask and does not notice anything that is forbidden to be seen”.<\/p>\n

The cult of personality with portraits of Kadirov, known for his cruelty and sadism, is abhorrent to many Chechens, the author writes. But Callahan founds Kadirov “amazing”.<\/p>\n
