An Ingush Girl Has Been Abducted in North Ossetia
Waynakh Online received notification that on December 22nd, a female resident of Ingushetia was abducted by Russian security forces in North Ossetia.
On December 22nd, a resident of 3 Ortskhanova Street in Nazran, Ingushetia, Zalina Idrisovna Elkhoroeva, born in 1980, was abducted by Russian security forces in the village of Chermen, North Ossetia.
The victim’s father, Idris Elkhoroev said that they were traveling from Vladikavkaz back home in a taxi after visiting his son, Timur Idrisovich Elkhoroev, who is in a jail, and at a check point near Chermen, the taxi was stopped by a few vehicles. There was a group of armed and masked men in military uniforms; one of them came and ordered everyone to get out of the taxi. While they were checking passports, they asked Zalina to go near the VAZ-2114 car. The rest were ordered to stay near their car and the Russian agents placed Zalina into the VAZ-2114 and drove to an unknown destination.
The girl’s relatives immediately appealed to a police department in North Ossetia as well as the prosecutor’s office and other legal structures the following day. However, Zalina’s fate and whereabouts remain unknown.
