Chechen Woman Abducted in Shatoi
Local sources have reported that a Chechen woman was abducted in the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.
According to the information, on October 22, soldiers from the Russian Interior Ministry organized a punishment operation within the Shatoi district. A woman, born in 1972, was abducted as a result.
The hostage is accused of providing food to a group of Chechen fighters from the Chechen National Liberation Movement during the summer of 2005.
The female hostage was taken to the Russian Interior Ministry’s Shatoi branch. Her fate is not known at the moment.
