Young Man Abducted in Vedeno District
Local sources report that a local man has been abducted in the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.
According to the information, on January 15, soldiers from the Russian Interior Ministry’s Vedeno District Unit and North Caucasus Federal District Unit, as well as armed bandits from the pro-Moscow regime carried out a joint punishment operation in the village of Khatuni in the Vedeno district. A local male resident, born in 1991, was abducted from his house. The hostage is accused of provoding shoes and clothes in August 2012 to a group from the Chechen National Liberation Movement.
The hostage’s fate and whereabouts are unknown at the moment.
