Elderly Woman Abducted in Vedeno
Local source report that a 61 year old Chechen woman has been abducted in the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.
On April 26, soldiers from the Russian Interior Ministry’s Vedeno unit and armed bandits from the pro-Moscow regime in occupied Chechnya have organized a joint operation in the village of Dishni-Vedeno, which is within the Vedeno district. During the operation, a Chechen woman, born in 1952, was abducted from her house. The hostage is accused of providing food to members of the Chechen National Liberation Movement, between January and February of 2007.
The hostage’s fate and whereabouts are unknown at the moment.
