Lithuanians to Celebrate Ichkeria’s Independence Day
Rytas Kupčinskas, head of the Lithuanian Parliamentary Group for Relations with the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, has announced that the Seimas of the Lithuanian Republic (Lietuvos Respublikos Seimas) will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Ichkeria’s independence.
According to the report, the Lithuanian Parliamentary Group for Relations with the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, which has 20 members, will hold a roundtable on September 6 in honor of the “20th anniversary of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria’s independence”. Some unnamed guests from Latvia and Russian occupied Chechnya will participate in the event in the Seimas building of the Lithuanian Republic.
