The Polish news agency PAP has reported that Poland’s Supreme Court has ruled that evidence needs to be collected in order to ascertain whether charges against a former Chechen fighter are true.

The Polish television channel TVN24 has reported that the General Prosecutor of Poland applied to the Supreme Court to reconsider the request of extradition to the Russian Federation for former Chechen fighter Adam Mamilov.

Polish Press Agency (PAP) reported that the Polish Supreme Court overturned the decision regarding the extradition case of the Chechen asylum seeker Adam Mamilov who in 1994-1996 took part in the Chechen Republic Ichkeria armed forces against Russian invasion. The case will be revised by the Court of Appeal in Lublin city of Poland.
