A Child was wounded at landmine explosion
A Chechen child was wounded at the landmine explosion in the mountaines Vedeno region of Chechnya.
A child, secondary class student was wounded at a landmine explosion on the outskirts of Dishni Vedeno village of Chechnya on June 14, 2009. The child was received multi sharapnel wounds and hospitalized in modere condition.
According to UNICEF, as a result of landmine explosions in Chechnya, 714 civilian killed and 2.379 civilian wounded since 1994. And 159 of the victims were children.
Some of experts believe to Chechnya is the most mined land of the world. In the Chechnya, there are 24 thousand hectars mined.
