There was an attack to motorcade of Yunusbek Evkurov, President of Ingushetia in this morning around 8.20 am. 6 people injured including Evkurov and his brother and 5 guards of Evkurov and a civilian person died at the explosion.

According to sources in Ingushetia, when the passing of motorcade of Evkurov on the road of vicinity KamAz Center in Nazran city, there was a powerful explosion around 8.20 am with Moscow time. As a result of explosion, Yunusbek Evkurov, his brother, chief of his personal guard and 3 more his personal guards wounded; 5 guards of him and a civilian person died. Eyewitness said, there is a big hole (as 2 metres span and 40 cms deep) and some cars damaged  at the area of explosion, people says also the parts of Yevkurov’s armoured Mercedes dispersed to area around 150 metres distance. Now whole city and roads are under blocked by military forces.

According to puppet source, Yunusbek Evkurov was lightly wounded and his life isn’t under threatening. But the last news from Nazran is different. The doctors as Republic State Hospital of Nazran took Yunusbek Evkurov to a operation. Some sources from hospital said, the situation is president is heavy and they are planning to send him to Moscow this evening with a private plane.

Some sources says, the reason of explosion was a Lexus car with Moscow plate or the civilian person who was died at the explosion, was a suicide bomber.

Yunusbek Evkurov was a high ranked soldier at Russian army. He was awarded as Hero of Russia because of his success at his mission in Chechnya beginnig of the second campaign of Russia. Moscow appointed him as President of Ingushetia on August 31, 2008.
