But whe he arrived to Ingushteia on June 22, 2009, soldiers didn’t let him to go out. The same day, there was an assasination attempt to Yunusbek Evkurov and local soldiers was thinking it isn’t safe for Mr.Zimeray. So, Mr.Zimeray moved to Chechnya.

At firts he met the delegation of puppet Kadirov’s administration. Later he had met with the families of missing people in Chechnya. After his meeting, he met with the Shamsail Saraliev, Foreing Affairs Minister of puppet Kadirov government. During their meeting, Mr.Zimeray explained to human rights violations in Chechnya but when the Shamsail Saraliev denial to kidnapping cases then François Zimeray held a strong language to the Chechen authorities.

This is totally unacceptable and ineffective. Violence breeds violence. All the stories show that what motivates young people to hiding is to make justice for atrocities committed against relatives or friends!”. And he added: “I have been impressed by the reconstruction of Grozny.  But the war  continues without a name. I saw a castle of sand which will not take long”.
