A Punitive Operation in Chechnya
According to sources in Chechnya, there was a punitive raid in Khattuni village of Vedeno district in Chechnya today morning on early hours.
On September 14, 2009, the Khattuni village was blocked by joint terrorist forces of Russian occupants and their puppets. They searched to homesteads and during their raid, they beat to elders, women and children, also destroyed propesties.
Some gangs of Russian occupant forces broke into the village school and forced children to lie on the floor, because they were searching to “militants” who were hiding at the school. The pupils threatened with death and some of them were severaly beaten.
Russian occupant forces put some temporary checkpoints to various parts of the village. Aslanbek Sheripov, a resident of Bashtar village was detained at one of these roadblocks. He was beaten and taken away to an unknown destination.
According to villagers, either this young man nor somebody in his family have never had any relation with Chechen mujahedeens. The villagers said that they don’t know why he was abducted; but some eyewitness said the young hadn’t answered with respect for the question of a bandit of Kadirov regime.
Some of the villagers believed that the punitive raid was organized for frightening people and cutting to any help for mujahedeens.
