Demonstration Against Putin in Krakow
On September 1, 2009, Vladimir Putin, war criminal and Prime Minister of Russia was in Poland for to be a participant of 70th solemn ceremonies to mark the outbreak of the second world war; there was a big demonstration against Putin in Krakow.
The demonstration was organized by “Free Caucasus Committee”, “Federation of Anarchists” and “Committee 39’09”. The protesters met in front of the Adam Mickiewicz Monument at Market Square in Krakow. Later the group moved to the Consulate of the Russian Federation. The protesters indicated Putin about his crimes in Chechnya and Georgia. They chanted slogans like “Putin! Get out From Poland!”, “Nuremberg for Putin!”. The participants hold posters and the flags of Chechen Republic Ichkeria and Georgia.
