According to various media agencies, the former mufti of Ichkeria, Mullah Bai-Ali Tevsiyev, resident of Austria for a long time, who then returned to Chechnya and had received a formal “absolution” from puppet Kadirov, suddenly appeared in London and claims “political asylum”.

There is no precise information on the reasons for the redeployment of Mullah Bai-Ali to London.

Recall that Tevsiev publicly repented before Kremlin’s puppet Kadirov in the television program “Tochki Opori” and declared that “there can be no gazavat in Chechnya”. He said that he “earlier by mistake” talked about gazavat (jihad), but now “realized that, that was not right.”

“There were no motives for declaring gazavat (jihad) in late 1999 in the republic, but Aslan Maskhadov, fraudulently forced me to take this decision, saying that “this is a formality, and after the declaration of gazavat Russia will sit at the negotiating table,” but this was followed by a bloody war and after that I refused to be a mufti, and left the republic”, – had said Tevsiev, when he went to Chechnya in tv programme of puppet Kadirov.

According to him, Chechen resistance against Russian invasion, “it was not Jihad, or Ghazowat, but a sell out of own people by the leadership of Ichkeria for personal reasons”.

So now in this situation, he must explain why he ran away from Chechnya again!
