Turkish media reported, Mehdi Nuzhet Cetinbas, head of Caucasus Foundation’s Original Board, put into words that the children of Chechen refugees in Turkey should be allowed to study at schools of Turkish Ministry of Education and the government must prepare a legal regulation on this children’s pass degrees.

Mr Cetinbas reminded that recently Turkish public opinion is discussing the education problems of illegal Armenian workers’ children and “If this issue might resolve, then we also can take advantage of it” said Mehdi Cetinbas.

He pointed out that Turkey doesn’t accept Chechen asylum seekers as refugees but however equates them as illegal workers from Romaina and Armenia.

Mehdi Nuzhet Cetinbas attracts attention that Chechen refugee children can go to the schools with hut the belind eye of school directors and directors of national education. “Children receive the education as guest students, but it is not a legal education type. When they finish their schools, they receive a document which has no legal validity. Then we send this document to Chechnya and transform into a pass degree. Can you believe this, some refugee children could manage to graduated from high school with this method” said Mr Cetinbas.

“We don’t want a concession for Chechen refugee children. We just ask a a legal regulation on this children’s pass degrees. We don’t want anything more” said Mr Cetinbas.

“These people are victims and stateless, at the moment there is no possibility to return their homeland. They are around 3 thousand people more or less. And numbers of the students are only about 200. Not such a huge digits. Their problems must be solve somehow” added Mehdi Nuzhet Cetinbas.
