Members of the old Chechen Diaspora in Turkey have published a statement related to the puppet Kadyrov’s spurious “Congress of Chechen Peoples” that starts on October 12.

They have pointed out that some members of the Chechen Diaspora in Turkey are attending this fake “congress” and are claiming that they are in Chechnya in the name of “Chechens in Turkey”. In reality they do not have the power to speak in the name of the Chechen Diaspora nor represent them. They are just a few individuals who happen to have membership in Chechen associations in Turkey.

Members of the Chechen Diaspora in Turkey, Chechen civil society organizations and media outlets have signed the statement and joined in with public opinion.

The following points were declared by them:

• We refuse to participate in any meeting that is organized on the orders and interests of the puppet’s boss.
• We know the names of all who will participate in this meeting from the Chechen Diaspora in Turkey, and it must be known that we did not give anyone the right to represent us or speak on the behalf of the Chechen Diaspora in Turkey;
• We openly announce that we support and will eternally support the idea of an independent Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, which had its lines drawn by Dzhoxar Dudaev!
