A Resident of Nazran Kidnapped
Human Rights Center “Memorial” has reported that a male civilian was kidnapped in Nazran, Ingushetia.
According to the report, on March 21st, a resident of the village of Plievo, Ilez Musaevich Gorchkhanov, born in 1984, came to Nazran with his car VAZ-2114. He got out of his car near the bus station at Mutalieva Street and was kidnapped by 5 or 6 armed, masked, and military uniformed people. They pulled him into a silver Lada-Priora car with the plate: “с790су”. The kidnappers were speaking Russian and Ingush and they also seized Ilez’s car. However, after 20 minutes the car was found on Magas-Kantyshevo Road which is close to the DPS (Department of Traffic Police) on the “Kavkaz” federal highway.
On March 22nd, the whereabouts of the victim were unknown. The appeals from his relatives to law enforcement were unsuccessful. His relatives and human rights activists said that he has never engaged in illegal activities and that he was working at Ingushetia National Education Ministry while living as a peaceful resident.
