Chechen Asylum Seeker Arrested in Ukraine
The Ukrainian website, UA-Reporter.com has reported that a 36-year old Chechen man was arrested in Uzhgorod, while trying to cross the Ukraine-Slovakia border.
According to the article, earlier this month, a 36-year-old asylum seeker from Chechnya, having no documents was attempting to cross the Ukraine – Slovakia border. Ukrainian Police handed the detained asylum seeker over to Ukrainian border guards. The detainee’s was noted as Kazbek. At the present time, those persons helping the Chechen asylum seeker get to Transcarpathia are being searched.
