Chechen Man Shot in Belgium
Belgian media sources have reported that a 28 year old Chechen man was injured after being shot in the head.
According to the news, on December 30, at about 4.00am, a Chechen man, born in 1984, was injured after being shot in the head while driving his car at Citadel Park in the city of Ghent, Belgium. Even with the injury, he was able to drive himself to a local hospital. He was immediately operated on and at the moment his condition is not critical.
“On December 31, two Polish men, ages 25 and 33, were arrested on suspicion of the attempted murder. Our investigation is still open and we are trying to figure out what really happened,” said Annemie Serlippens, Public Prosecutor of Ghent.
