Invitation to Protest in Memory of Natalya Estemirova
A group of NGOs has invited everyone to a protest in memory of the murdered Chechen human rights activist, Natalya Estemirova.
The Paris based group ACAT, Amnesty International, Comité Tchétchénie, Le Convoi Syndical, l’Union des Electeurs russes, FIDH, Reporters Without Borders, and Russie-Libértes have reminded us that the Chechen human rights advocate Natalya Estemirova was kidnapped and murdered on July 15, 2009, due to the her activities defending human rights in the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria. To this day, neither the hit men nor the instigators of her murder have been found. For this reason, a joint protest will be organized in Paris on July 15.
The protest will be held at “Place Igor Stravinsky (Beauborg) in Paris” at 06.30pm.
