Medet Onlu, Honorary Consul of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria in Turkey, was assassinated in his office in Ankara on May 22, 2013. So far, Turkish authorities have not found the hit-man nor his instigators, but instead, they have done everything possible to cover up the assassination. At this point, his relatives and friends have started a campaign to force the Turkish authorities to solve the case.

The “Justice for Medet Onlu” campaign was announced through a website under http://www.medeticinadalet.org. On the Turkish and English website, you can find Mr Onlu’s biography, detailed information about the hit-man and instigators as well as the attitude of the Turkish authorities. You may also sign an online petition which address the Turkish Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Interior.
